”Hello my Patreon fam!
Your continued support inspires me so much! I wanted to give you a few notes on where my head is at going into this year (it's already February!) and what musical things are on the horizon, as well as reflecting on where we've been.
On a strictly personal level 2025 was a bonkers year. I hired so many musicians to play and perform with me I spent nearly 10k paying them alone. Definitely a milestone for me and one I'm very proud of! In building community, I want to give the musicians I know that are kind and full of the things I hope the rest of the industry could be full of as many opportunities to enrich themselves, build beautiful things, and come right back and help me build the things I'm building bigger and brighter.
That number is quite a bit bigger and more meaningful than a lot of the other numbers I could throw out: number of streams on streaming platforms, or numbers of likes, views, etc. You know, the numbers and stats that this industry thrives on and qualitatively looks at when making business decisions.
Overall, 2025 was a full year with so many videos, singles, my debut album, and fun shows. On a family level, my kiddo turned two, my partner and I celebrated 12 years of marriage, and no one kicked us out our house, we somehow managed to either pay all our bills, give a little to our community and causes we believe in, and support family and friends (like you!) that we love. I don't think anyone could ask for more.
